Define Control Variables

To access this screen:

1. Optimization control bar >> Pushbacks >> Settings and select the Size Control tab.

2. Click Edit Control Variables.

The most common variable for controlling pushback size is Total Ore, representing the combined tonnage of all ore types. Use this screen to define alternative variables. The variables are defined in grid box columns; and each definition occupies its own column.

First enter a Label to identify the variable. The following rows should be used to enter variable coefficients, typically 1 or 0.
